This has me totally bamboozled, and I would really appreciate some help! Thanks in advance! Giving trouble too, when it never used to. I tried reducing the size of the templates, which seemed to help temporarily, but now my smallest sized template is I have also just done Office updates and Windows updates, again with no effect. I have just reinstalled Word, with no change to this issue.
They are fairly simple templates, with just text, and one template has a single image. I'm working on documents that are generally 1 - 15 pages of text, a few hundred KB up to 2 MB max, using templates that are 14 - 50 KB. Lately saving has also become more of a problem, where it takes a full minute or so to do a simple Ctrl+S save, freezing the document until it's finished saving. Sometimes even in draft view it freezes when trying to navigate the document. For the last 8 months or so I have had trouble with Word (not sure about other Office programs as I don't use them much) being very very laggy and slow, so that I have to use draft view.
